2016/2017 Orientation Programme

The orientation programme for the 2016/2017 Academic Session starts on Monday, 20th February 2017 thru Thursday, 23rd February 2017.

The Program is as scheduled below;

1.    Day One (Monday, 20 February 2017) all new students are expected to be seated by 11:40am 

2.    Day Two to Day Four (Tuesday 21 February to Thursday 23 February, 2017) all students are expected to be seated by 9:45am and by 4:45pm for the Cocktail Party.  


All new students are kindly advised to be punctual.

Second CPEEL Regional Conference on Energy

The Second CPEEL Regional Energy Conference with the theme, Transformations in the Global Energy Industry: Setting the Agenda for the Gulf of Guinea, is scheduled to take place between the 26th and 27th of October, 2015.

Owing to the ongoing palpable dynamics in the energy sector, it is indeed timeous to critically analyze the implications of the recent trends in the energy sector for the Gulf of Guinea. The Second CPEEL Energy Conference is set to provide an avenue for engagement in the foregoing discourse.

Sharing the Wealth: Strategies for Distribution of Wealth from Petroleum and other Extractive Industries

Professor Yinka Omorogbe will bring her experience to bear when she discusses strategies for the distribution of wealth from Petroleum and other Extractive Industries in CPEEL’s Special Seminar Series scheduled for the 28th of August, 2014. Professor Omorogbe is a legal practitioner with degrees from the University of Ife, Nigeria and the London School of Economics and Political Science. She was until recently, the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).  She was also a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
