Lilian Idiaghe earned a first degree in Law from the University of Benin, and a Masters of Laws degree from the University of Ibadan; with concentration in international economic and development law. Before her appointment, Lilian had served as a research assistant on several commissioned projects at CPEEL. She has research interest in development law, energy and development issues, energy policy and regulation and renewable electricity. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Association for Energy Economics, and the Nigerian Environmental Study/Action Team. She is currently a doctoral candidate at CPEEL, and serves as co-editor of the Centre’s Newsletter. She is also a Graduate Assistant at the Centre.
