Course Summary
The main objective of this course is to provide students with a good understanding of quantitative methods for research and policy making. The course is designed as an ambitious learning experience to broaden the analytical skills of students and thereby empower them to evaluate empirical studies, perform independent research and develop evidence-based policy decisions. Specific topics include: Review of Matrix Algebra; Linear Regression Model; Time Series Analysis; Discrete and Limited Dependent Variable Models; and Panel Data Analysis.
