collaboration with the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics, and Law (CPEEL), Faculty
of Multidisciplinary Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan invites applications from highly
qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (PDRF).

About DMPEEL and CPEEL
DMPEEL and CPEEL are premier research-driven institutions committed to advancing
knowledge in energy studies and energy law. Our projects focus on interdisciplinary research
that informs evidence-based policies and practices at local, national, regional and international
levels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching: Deliver one or two graduate-level courses within the relevant fields of energy
law, economics, or policy.
2. Research: Engage in ongoing research activities, including fieldwork, stakeholder
engagement, and community outreach, aligned with your area of expertise.
3. Seminar Presentations: Attend and present at least one seminar on an energy-related topic
of your choice.
4. Publications: Contribute toward the publication of monographs or a working paper series.
5. Additional Tasks: Assist with other relevant responsibilities as directed by the
department, based on your expertise.
Qualifications and Requirements
6. A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy Studies, Energy Law, Economics,
Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Public Policy, or a related field.
7. Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to engage in interdisciplinary work.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative data
analysis tools is an added advantage.

10. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented
environment.
11. Prior research experience or publications will be an advantage.
