Olusanya Elisa OLUBUSOYE (PhD) is a Professor and formerly the Acting Head (May 2009 - April 2011), Department of Statistics, University of Ibadan. He has taught in other universities including Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, and Pan African University (Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation), Kenya. His research interests include macroeconometric modelling, Applied Bayesian Analysis and Statistical Model Simulation. He has served as a consultant and research fellow to several organizations both locally and abroad including MacArthur Foundation, African Union (AU) on Education Management Information System (EMIS), African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and Lagos State Government on Lagos State Baseline Data and Service Delivery Projects funded by World Bank. He was a visiting scholar to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2006. He is a member of many Professional and Academic associations including Royal Statistical Society (RSS), London, African Econometric Society (AES), International Biometric Society (IBS) Group Nigeria, and The Nigerian Statistical Association (NSA). He holds the highest professional qualification of Chartered Statistician (CStat) of the RSS. He is a Senior Research Fellow with the Centre for Econometric and Allied Research (CEAR), University of Ibadan.
